Judging from the pre-release "buzz", if you plan to wow your friends and family with the Rock Band game, you need to jump on getting a copy as soon as it is released. Pre-order sales have already been limited by the manufacturer to only one per household, so be prepared. This awesome game will probably sell out in record time.
Harmonix has plans to eventually set up an international, online Rock Band video game community where you can go to find new bandmembers or just compare "notes". While they are working on that, get your coworkers to play Rock Band with you. The conversation at the water cooler will definitely change. Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility
With the Xbox 360 getting more and more popular, more and more new exciting games will be coming out of the market. Gamers will be able to play more exciting as well as more visually remarkable games on their game console.
But some gamers may still miss playing some of their favorite games in the past that run on older Xbox models. In order to allow gamers to play their past favorites on their new Xbox 360, developers of the game console has made backward compatibility as part of the newer model's various exciting features.
Xbox 360 Backward compatibility is achieved through software emulation of the original Xbox game console. Emulated games make it possible for older Xbox games to be played in your new Xbox 360 game console. Doing so would allow the gamer with a few benefits on the side.
For one, the Xbox 360 is able to offer graphical enhancements because the old games are rendered in 720p, 1080i, or 1080p video resolution with anti-aliasing enabled rather than the older Xbox standard of 480p. Graphics become clearer and crispers and may even enhance the way the game is being played with a more powerful processor in store.
Some older Xbox games may also benefit from a great improvement in the rendered draw distance that is due to the newer system's greater memory bandwidth. But not all older games may be able to display these enhancements. There are some older game versions that do not perform that well in an emulated environment. Such games often exhibit a lower frame rate on the Xbox 360 than on the originals Xbox.
Before one can play emulated games on the Xbox 360, a hard drive and an emulation profile may be needed in order to play original Xbox games. There are updated emulation profiles that can be obtained through Xbox Live. Emulation profiles can also be obtained by burning the profiles downloaded from Xbox.com into a CD. One can also do it by ordering an update emulation profile disc from Microsoft.
There is a full list of Xbox 360 backward-compatible games maintained at Xbox.com which includes over 298 exciting game titles which is about 30 percent of the total Xbox game library. Microsoft intend to release more emulation profiles to the gaming public as they become available, with grand plans to make the entire Xbox library playable on the Xbox 360 game console.
With the backwards compatibility of the Xbox 360 will allow it to be easily embraced by more and more gamers. Not only will they be looking forward to the newest games to be released specially for the Xbox 360, gamers also have the option to go back to some games that they have loved to play in the past.
Not only that, some accessories that come with the Xbox 360 will even be able to enhance the gaming experience. Gamers will be able to take advantage of the Xbox 360's wireless capability and feature in order to make gaming even more exciting and convenient. Xbox 360 can make use of wireless controllers and headsets that each gamer can use to make game play even more enhancing.

If you've ever wondered what the big deal is about buying Xbox 360 bundles, there are several reasons. In a day and age when new video games are sixty to seventy dollars a piece, it's important to save money where you can, and buying in bulk is a great place to start. Also, keep in mind it doesn't have to just be the games, you can also find bundles that include game consoles, Xbox Live packs, and much more.
Seriously, there are so many advantages, you could read forever, but saving the money has to be the top priority. Xbox 360 bundles can offer as many games as they want, it just depends on how much you want to spend. If games like Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Guitar Hero III, and Madden 08' are games you can't do without, it would normally cost almost 0 to get all of them after sales tax and everything.
So, instead of purchasing them one by one you go out looking for a bundle that offers them together. Now be realistic, it's going to be harder to get all those video games in particular, but we are just using them for an example. The point is you could buy them in bundles and save anywhere from -0. We don't know anyone that would turn down saving that kind of money.
On the flip side of things, think about if you own a video game store online or in your local neighborhood. Buying Xbox 360 bundles could be the smartest thing to do on a business standpoint, since you could sell them one by one for the full price. Then again, you could sell them for a little less, still make a profit, and show your customers that cheaper prices doesn't mean less quality.
However, as a consumer you may be sitting there with nothing. You don't have an Xbox game console, no games, no headsets, no Xbox Live, but you've been wanting to purchase something like this for quite some time. Buying a bundle with all of this is feasible and again you're saving money buying them all at once.
Then of course, there are some people that buy Xbox 360 bundles simply because it's less of a hassle. Listen, if you have the opportunity of saving money buying all at once and only have to worry about one order, instead of shipments on different days from various places which one are you going to choose?
After thinking about that, let's get back to the money part again. We couldn't forget the advantages of shipping costs. With video games people can charge anywhere from - just for one game with regular USPS mail. If you wanted four games, you could purchase a newer game just by using the shipping cost. However, buying Xbox 360 bundles would eliminate that issue for you.
We could go on and on about separate taxes and things of that nature, but we know you get the idea. No matter what the reason is to purchase these Xbox 360 bundles, you always know the deal is a good one. The only thing you have to decide upon, is which bundle best suits you and your family.

The wait is finally over, the new, and last edition of Halo is now out and tearing up message boards around the world. And it's understandable as to why, it can easily be argued that Bungie, and Microsoft have saved the best edition of the Halo franchise for the last installment, and it is amazing.

The Ear Force X31 is our third generation of wireless headsets for the XBOX 360. Like the X3, the X31 combines XBOX live chat with wireless game sound so you can hear the game sound and the voices of other players in the headset. In other words, it replaces your XBOX communicator headset and external speakers. By hearing the XBOX Live chat in the center of your head rather than in one ear, you can communicate better online. This new digital RF technology is a huge improvement over analog IR because it delivers CD-quality sound with no background hiss, no interference from plasma TV screens and no line of sight restrictions between the transmitter and headset. Sound quality is improved with new 40mm speakers that use the same design as our high-quality X41 50mm speakers for better frequency response and improved clarity in the game sound. Inside the headset is a digital signal processor for bass boost and stereo expander effects, which can be turned on by pressing this button. This makes the expander more dramatic than the X3.
